Library Closed November 27th and 28th for Thanksgiving
The UAMS Library will be closed Thursday, November 27th, and Friday, November 28th, for Thanksgiving. Students and residents will still have access to library facilities through their badges, and all resources will remain available online.
EBSCO databases and journals currently unavailable 9/25/2025
We are working to resolve connection issues preventing our access to the Ebsco databases and articles for CINAHL, PsychArticles, PsycInfo, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Cochrane Clinical Answers, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, and Cochrane Methodology Register.
We hope to have the issues resolved quickly and appreciate your patience while we work.

Library Closed September 1 for Labor Day
The UAMS Library will be closed Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day. Students and residents will still have access to library facilities through their badges, and all resources will remain available online.
PubMed Downtime July 26, 5am – 5pm
ATTENTION: PubMed Downtime Saturday July 26th from 5AM-5PM CST!
NCBI will be taking all databases offline for website maintenance on Saturday, July 26th. This includes PubMed.
Starting at 6:00 AM EDT, maintenance will commence and is anticipated to last 12 or more hours. During this time, users may experience interrupted access or degraded performance across a range of NLM resources, including databases, search tools, submission systems, and programmatic services.

We are currently experiences technical issues that may impact off-campus access to library electronic journals, books, and databases, as well as printing in the library. We hope to have access restored soon.
