ALERT: Technical issues
We are currently experiences technical issues that may impact off-campus access to library electronic journals, books, and databases, as well as printing in the library. We hope to have access restored soon.
June Is Oral Health Month!
Jan 18, 2024 Library is open
While many of the library staff are still working remotely, services are still available and the library space is open. The regular hours today are 7:30am – 6pm.
Library hours for Martin Luther King, JR holiday
On Monday, January 15, 2024, the Library will be open regular hours, 7:30am – 6:00pm. The after-hours area will be available for students and residents by badge-entry as usual.
Library hours for December 23 through January 1, 2024
Library services will be closed for Winter Break from December 23 through January 1. The after-hours access entry is always available for UAMS students and residents.
For our off-site or remote users:
Our databases, journals, and eBooks are always available through the website. Library.uams.edu
Many services, including literature search requests and scheduling appointments or classes, are available via our online forms here: https://library.uams.edu/use-the-library/online-forms/

New Library Hours
Beginning May 30, 2023, the Library service hours are changing and the 24/7 after-hours access for students and residents is open on all floors of the Library to include the group study rooms, individual study spaces, and a new relaxation space on 3rd floor.
New hours for Library service:
Monday – Friday 7:30am – 6:00pm
Saturday 9:00am – 3:00pm
Sunday 1:00pm – 5:00pm
When the Library is not staffed, the study space is accessible through badge tap entry for students and residents at the front library entrance and the ALC entry, both on 1st floor. We have made the changes to support request for expanded 24/7 study areas and to align our service and staff hours to the times of greatest usage.
The furniture for the relaxation space on 3rd floor will be the week of June 6 and 7.
