A reminder that this month’s “Stay-at-Home” Lecture Series is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, June 3rd, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Blair Hollender will present “A Medical Librarian’s Wish: Mary Hudgins and the Army-Navy Hospital of Hot Springs.” Hollender is a PhD student in Higher Education at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

An expert on Arkansas history, Mary D. Hudgins was not only a passionate writer, advocate, and collector of local and state history but also a medical librarian at the Army-Navy Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas. During her time there she was devoted to serving her patrons, going above and beyond to bring enrichment and entertainment to the patients of the Army-Navy Hospital.
