Finding Articles

Citations/references to articles in thousands of journals are collected and organized into databases. Sometimes book chapters and theses are included. The usual search options are Subject Heading, Keyword, Author, Journal Name.

Databases Useful in Pharmacology & Toxicology

Finding Journals

Start at the eJournals page. If not found, try the catalog (print and eJournals).

Finding Books

Browse or search by title options or ISBN or DOI. For subject searches, use Title Contains ALL Words with any of the following: pharm* or drug*or tox* or poison*.  You can use specific words (pharmacy or toxic, etc.) if you don’t want to expand with the truncation symbol (*).

Concise summaries in article form. topic reviews of published evidence with recommendations for patient care.
