Wi-Fi enables your device to connect to the Internet using the 802.11 remote access on campus. Wireless access is available throughout the campus and hospital.

Bluetooth can be used to wirelessly synchronize and transfer data among devices. Typical uses include automatically synchronizing contact and calendar information among desktop, notebook and palmtop computers without connecting cables. Bluetooth can also be used to access a network or the Internet with a notebook computer by connecting wirelessly to a cellular phone.

• Anyone with wireless (WiFi) enabled devices can connect to the Internet via the UAMS Aruba wireless network by entering his or her email address and signing in as 'Guest.'
• UAMS faculty, students, and staff must contact Campus IT to configure their wireless enabled device before connecting to a UAMS network or Intranet.
  
  Note for Palm OS: The Aruba system was designed primarily to work with Internet Explorer, which is a Windows operating system web browser. Currently, there is not a work-around for any other web browser.
