STRESS BUSTER therapy dog at the library Thursday, Oct. 3

There will be a therapy DOG at the Library, Thursday, October 3rd, 3:30 for approximately an hour.

Sasssy Pants SPOT therapy dog

This dog, a Westie named Sassy Pants, is a member of the UAMS SPOT teams that visit patients in the hospital.  We are providing her as a service to our patrons that could use a short break from their studies.  She does not bark and is a certified therapy dog. In an effort to keep distraction to a minimum, she will be stationed in the Watson Room (the room just off of the ALC with double wooden and glass doors).

A sign-up sheet will be posted outside the door for 10 minute one-on-one sessions with the dog.  Please be sure to leave feedback so that we can better accommodate patrons and dogs in the future.  Comment slips will be provided.
